One flat price: $10 a month, unlimited checks. Nothing to install.

sound familiar?

The office waits while you're on calls

Checks wait on a signature

You're on calls all day, so checks sit on the desk. The supply house statement gets paid late, and they notice.

Two sign-offs, one checkbook

Your rule says two people OK any check over $500. On a busy day, getting both of you to the checkbook rarely happens.

A pile of statements

Supply houses, rentals, subs and parts. Matching every bill to every check eats your evenings.

Typing it into QuickBooks

Checks get keyed into QuickBooks after the fact. Then your bookkeeper cleans it up at month-end.

what changes

On-time bills. Fewer nights at the desk.

Approve between calls

When a check needs you, you get an email and an in-app alert. Approve it from any browser, then get back to the job.

Two sign-offs, no meeting

Send checks over $500 to the owner, or through two approval steps, each to a person you pick. Only approved checks print.

Paperwork in one place

Attach the supply house statement to the check, up to 3 files. Add the invoice number and line items. It's all there when your bookkeeper asks.

QuickBooks without retyping

Sync approved checks to QuickBooks Online with the right vendor, number, date and amount. Month-end gets shorter for you and your bookkeeper.

how it works

How it works at your shop

  1. 01

    Set up the shop

Add your bank account and starting check number. Import vendors from QuickBooks or a spreadsheet. Upload your signature, if your bank allows printed signatures.

  2. 02

    Set who can spend what

Let your office manager write checks. Set a rule so the big ones come to you, and pick who approves the rest.

  3. 03

    Approve between calls

Get an alert, look at the check and the statement, and approve it from any browser.

  4. 04

    Print and sync

The office prints approved checks on blank check paper. Then they sync them to QuickBooks Online in a few clicks.

Books that match, with no double entry

Connect QuickBooks Online and pull in your vendors in one click. Set each vendor's expense account once, like Materials for the supply house. Sync approved checks one at a time, or all of a vendor's checks at once. A check with an invoice number goes in as a paid bill. If something is missing, Check Terminal tells you what to fix.

faq

Questions, answered

Can I require two approvals on bigger checks?

Yes. Set a rule so checks over the amount you choose go through two approval steps, one after the other. Send each step to the person or role you pick. Each approval is logged with the name and time.

Can my office write checks without full access?

Yes. Give each person only the access they need. Your office manager writes checks, and you keep the final OK.

What do I need to print checks?

Blank check paper and your own printer. Use magnetic (MICR) toner if your bank asks for it. Print a test check and run it by your bank before your first batch.

A vendor wants a voided check for direct deposit. Can I make one?

Yes. Print a blank check stamped VOID with your real bank line. It doesn't use up a check number.
